I got on the wrong boat and missed The Castle gig on Koh Tao!

In my whole career twice I had to buy new flight tickets cos I missed the flights, BUT I never missed the gigs. Yesterday, even though the ticket man looked at my ticket, he stil let us board the boat-the wrong boat!! Both the Samui and the Koh Tao boats were late (I didn’t know the Samui boat was also late) and as the weather was so crap, we left Aaron Edwards and Naq just chatting on the pier so I could be upfront in the queue so could get a seat in the middle of the boat. So we ended up back on Samui and then had to get a taxi scooter to the Haadrin Queen, so coukld get teh last boat back at 6.30, then taxi form haadrin to Thingsala where the scooter was and of course totally zero chance of getting to TheCastle Koh Tao. FUCK!!!!!! Thanks though to Alex Arnold who said if the wearher had been better, he would have arranged the dive boat to take us and to Steve Martin who also would have taken us if his GPS was working! So have leartned a few lessons this week, and yesterdays lesson was-ALTHOUGH YOU MAY LOOK LIKE A TOURIST, PUT THE FUCKING STICKER THEY GIVE YOU WHICH SHOWS YOUR DESTINATION ON YOUR FUCKING SHIRT! Then MAYBE , Mr Seatran man would have noticed and not let us board the wrong boat. Big apologies to everyone at the Castle, (especially Aaron Edwards of course) and will make it up to you on the 14th when Benoit Clerc joins us for a Bastille Day Special!Oh and Happy July 4th to all Amercian friends, even though almost 250 years you kicked us out!
