OH MY GOD-THE PEACH REUNION!!!

OK, afternoon, how are you? OK sorry I asked!! I don’t know where to start!
WE CAME HOME AND IT WAS MORE EPIC THAN I COULD EVER HAVE IMAGINED!! AND THANK YOU FOR ALL THE POSTS AND PHOTOS – YESTERDAY I HAD TEARS AND TODAY NOW AT 7PM THERE HAVE BEEN A LOT MORE I CAN TELL YOU. YOU CANNOT SERIOUSLY BELIEVE WHAT THEY ALL MEAN TO ME. My friends have said ‘lap it up, you deserve it’ and you know, for once I think they are actually right!!
I don’t think I have never felt so stressed to deliver a set that you would ALL love. Giving out the sweets in the queue, talking to you and feeling your love and understanding your expectations of this reunion were seriously so overwhelming. It is really only now, that it has all sunk in, and seeing your photos,(I will be posting mine soon, and don’t forget to check harderfaster.net soon as they had their photographer there-oh and the night was filmed so more news on that when I get it) and reading your comments make me wish it was actually tonight so that we could do it again, and I wouldn’t be stressed cos I know it was all epic!! My personal thanks to Don Ian Ranasinghe and Kate Stillman without whom this would never have happened. For Don, it had been his dream for years to do this, I honestly thought it would never happen. THANK YOU Pele and Darren and Craig and Dave for delivering truly awesome sets, to Sophie for being Sophie, to Marcella Woods who sang her heart out, to our awesome fx/laser production team (YES Don, FIVE LASERS WAS an epic idea!!!!! Thank you to the security team who for what I saw seemed to be polite and courteous and loving it and of course to the legendary Ray, our ex head of security that came down just to stand there and grin!! And sorry, I forgot these in my original post-Thank you to those who sent in mixes by their hundreds for a spot in the Black & White bar, to Dave T and to Paul Piique King for holding it all together. To one of my 3 best friends in the whole world ever, Eric Pengelly who thought he would be on a jolly but ending up working, to Stewart from XTC who managed to get us live on the radio, and to Juiceradiouk for taking the broadcast!!
The biggest THANK YOU of course goes to you, everyone one of you for being there, for bringing your immense love and passion and energy and smiles, I will remember it forever, I know we all will! The only apology I feel I have to make was the exact 5am finish. I had been told we could go to 5.15, and instead of asking on the mic at 5 when the sound engineer turned us down if we could play ONE MORE TUNE, in hindsight I SHOULD have just played what was cued up, it was always going to be our last tune- FRANKIE KNUCKLES ‘TEARS”. I fucked up there as no-one with any passion for music would have faded that out. And that’s all I have got to say, words can’t describe the emotion I feel today. LOVE YOU.
